College & Scholarships
Early College Opportunities
Leadership Academy of Utah (LAU) partners with local universities and colleges to let qualified LAU students take college courses while in high school. Early College gives students the unique opportunity to earn both high school and college credit towards industry certificates, 2-year or 4-year degrees.
CTE Opportunities
Students in grades 11-12 who wish to participate in local Career and Technical Education (CTE) can do so tuition-free at their local Utah Technical College. Students attending technical colleges while attending LAU will earn CTE or Elective credits toward their high school diploma.
Scholarships and Student Aid
LAU counselors encourage college-bound students to review this helpful list of College and Student Aid info. Our counselors also provide current scholarship information and deadlines monthly to all LAU high school students through the Counseling Update announcement posted in Homeroom. We encourage students to read these updates and contact counselors for additional assistance with scholarships or college information.
Our SAT or ACT District code is D28365. LAU's school code is 450051. -
Academic Support
LAU school counselors meet with students and parents to assist with course selection and creating a graduation plan to ensure high school students are on track for graduation. School counselors can also help parents and students communicate with mentors when unique circumstances necessitate additional academic support.
If your child is in need of tutoring, IEP, 504 accommodations, or other special services, please see our Special Education and Intervention Services page. -
