Course Details
LAU is excited to partner with Summit Journeys, led by world-renowned adventurer Martin Frey, to offer a Summit Leadership Adventure course for LAU high school students. This program, tailored for our current students in grades 9-12, provides an exceptional opportunity for students to develop character, leadership, and life skills through adventure education.
Students will gather in a beautiful, private camp near East Canyon Reservoir to disconnect from technology and reconnect with themselves and the world around them. They’ll engage in activities like kayaking, climbing, sailing, team-building, simulations, and leadership development. Martin Frey’s passion for inspiring young leaders aligns perfectly with our mission, and we are excited to offer this five-day, four-night experience at no cost to LAU families. Designed for all skill levels, this adventure follows a "challenge by choice" philosophy, empowering students to grow at their own pace.
Further camp details, including registration and release forms, will be shared with parents and students in May 2025.
